Peggy Sowers Heckman Clover Moon Designs Artist

Collage of a woman and her artwork including animals and nature. Title page. Whimsical horses, soulful dog, stylized flowers self portrait Clover Moon Designs"My intuition guides every stroke of my brush"  I say this because in all honesty I can't draw. My drawings always look not quite right to me. I start by laying down paint on a blank canvas with an idea in mind.  I allow my intuition to guide me through the process from beginning to end. I'll share a few stories with you as to what collectors say about my artwork.

I set up a booth in Bellefont PA. As a lady was walking by she said she "felt I strong sense of spiritually near my booth, which drew her in." She begin to tell me after a few minutes of looking around that "these faces have a story to tell" I gasp in suprise. My reply "Gurl tell me all about it." She began to tell me that these paintings are souls that want their story told and I should write down what they tell me while I'm painting. I was locked in!! So I do that now and feel I should include their story with each piece of new artwork. Starting 2026

At this same show another women approached my both and said "this painting caught my eye as I was walking by." Mind you I had just completed it for this show and I didn't know her at all.  She pointed to the painting saying "her boyfriend is a singer in a band and where he practices has a black and white checkered floor" This painting was of a singer holding a microphone wearing a black and white checkered shirt. This was a collage piece. The black and white area was a piece of restaurant paper I incorporated into the painting. She went on to tell me that she "absolutely adores peacocks and has a collection."  The girl in this painting had peacock feathers in her hair. Now for the off the wall part!  This painting resembles the women who was purchasing it!! She has black curly hair, just as the girl in the painting, both were wearing lots of large jewelry, their faces were so similar.  As soon as she brought it to my attention my heart stopped.  Coincidence, I think not! I immediately took her picture holding the portrait.

My daughter always says "it's like I'm channeling spirts and painting them." Each piece of artwork finds the person it is created for.  I love this so much!

So... if my artwork speaks to you, simply grab it, don't wait, it was meant for YOU!
